About us
Enaspol a. s. is a chemical company with longtime tradition in research and production of surfactants, construction chemicals (mainly concrete plasticizers) and textile auxiliaries. It is located in the vicinity of Teplice city in Northern Bohemia, on the halfway between Prague and the Saxon metropolis of Dresden.
Beginnings of industrial production on the premises of today’s company date back to the end of 19th century when first factory building was constructed, then serving as a sugar refinery. Chemical production was introduced shortly after the World War II. During the communist era Enaspol was part of chemical concern Spolchemie Ústí nad Labem.
Plant for the production of surfactants and textile auxiliaries was built between the years 1968 – 1969 in place of former ammunition dump. The production was extended by construction chemicals in 1970. Simultaneously, the plant became the main producer of textile auxiliaries for the whole communist block. At its peak, the production of textile auxiliaries was reaching as much as 30.000 tons/year, thus completely covering the demand of Czechoslovak, East German, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Soviet Union and Mongolian textile producers with exports to many other countries. Within the past 20 years Enaspol specialized in Czech textile market which has, however, dropped to 10 % of its pre-1989 volume.
Modern history of the company began in 1993 when Enaspol, s. r. o. (limited company) was founded. The company was transformed into Enaspol a. s. (joint stock company) in June 1996. We currently employ 72 people.

- surfactants
- concrete plasticizers and superplasticizers
- textile auxiliaries - for pretreatment, dyeing and printing, finishing, greasing, larding, flocculants and others
- other construction chemicals - eg. concrete setting retarders, demoulding and form-removing oils and others
- other specialties - eg. dispersing agents for dyestuffs used in textile, rubber and plastic industry, fabric conditioners, disinfectants, flocculants and others
