Intensification of production of Spolostans

The main objective of this project was to extend the capacity of our production lines and double the production of SPOLOSTANs. The project was realized between December 2005 and May 2007. Its actual cost was 13,850,000 CZK (c. 510,000 EUR), 6 million of which was covered by a grant. The most important product brought by the extended production was SPOLOSTAN 7L, a 42 % aqueous solution of sodium polynaphthalenesulphonate. This product serves as a superplastificator in concrete and mortar mixtures. When used in the concrete mixture, it provides for improved workability of the mixture while preserving its given firmness, increasing the firmness itself and enables cement savings from 5 – 20 %. The new technology created 8 job opportunities for men and 2 for women.
