Quality control

Sound development of our company depends on maintaining and expanding relations with the customers. In order to achieve these goals, we strive to increase the quality and utility value of the products, satisfy our customers´ needs and support the ecological behaviour of the company.

The goal of Enaspol is to supply the market with products that meet requirements on quality and whose properties are stable. Compliance with technical and time requirements set forth in previous agreements are part of the corporate strategy. We want to convince the customers of quality and reliability being the properties our company name is characterized with. Quality of the products is the base condition to satisfy our customers´ needs and thus to retain them.

Our quality policy is based on following principles:

• focusing on customers – Each of our employees is also a customer and a supplier at one time. I.e. the intermediate products, services and information are handed over between our workers within the plant. Quality of final product is determined by the quality of all our employees´ work.
• complete engagement – Every employee is engaged in achieving the quality of his/her own work and is well informed about requirements on quality of both work and products.
• measuring – Measuring the production and product parameters enables backward improvements. Simply put, what is not measured can hardly be improved. Parameters are determined by the requirements on quality of final product.
• systematic support – All activities in our plant support the effort on quality.
• continuous improvement – The collective of our company workers has to work better than yesterday, correct the encountered defects, anticipate them and increase the quality parameters of our products.
• ecological behaviour – Every employee is the guarantee of ecological behaviour during his/her work. The main emphasis is put on decreasing the amount of emerging waste and its ecological liquidation.

Quality is considered one of the main attributes of a successful company; hence we pay appropriate attention to it. Key principles of the quality policy result from our long term strategy and are formulated in the ´Production Control Documentation´ manual which describes the company´s control system. It is the base document covering all activities affecting the quality of production and products. Its uncompromising observance supports the compliance with quality of our products given by regulations, standards and requirements of customers. Methods described in this manual are binding on all our departments engaged in purchase, marketing, production, sales, technical development and production quality.

The responsibility for quality observance lies with the ´Quality Assurance/Quality Control´ department and its entrusted chief. In accordance with the ´Production Control Documentation´ manual the chief is responsible for:

• performing the raw materials´ input control
• performing the intermediate products´ interstage control
• performing the final products´ output control
• making out the products´ test certificates

Materials, raw materials, intermediate products and finals products are tested on the basis of standards, technical conditions and test methods in compliance with analytical regulations issued by the QA/QC department. Test and analytical procedures ensure that all defined controls and tests will be performed and that all data will correspond to the defined requirements. To support these objectives the QA/QC department laboratories are equipped by appropriate technology – gas chromatograph, ion chromatograph, automatic titration apparatuses, Karl Fischer titrator, fast-drying weighing machines, spectrophotometers and other laboratory equipment.

During the year 2004 Enaspol a. s. had its production control system examined according to the government regulation No 190/2002 Coll. and consistent with the 89/106/EEC instruction. As a result three certificates were issued by appropriate authorities: Certificate of Factory Production Control 1020 – CPD – 060019518 concerning plastifying additives for concrete; Certificate of Factory Production Control 1020/89/106/EHS/060-019546 concerning superplastifying additives for concrete; Certificate of Factory Production Control 1020 – CPD – 060025767 concerning additives accelerating the concrete setting.

Authorized body supervises over our certified production control system and draws up a report on supervision every year. This enables Enaspol a. s. to produce the plastifying and superplastifying additives and additives accelerating the concrete setting in accordance with the ČSN EN 934 – 2 standards and to use the CE quality mark.
